Join a dynamic startup revolutionizing the cloud industry! At Greyrox, we are a small, dedicated team on a mission to make our customers thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape. We do this by developing an innovative cross-cloud Kubernetes platform hosted on AWS, Azure, and GCP that allows customers to swiftly integrate new applications and build customer journeys via a simple and user-friendly interface. Our development is primarily done in TypeScript, with infrastructure fully automated and deployed using Terraform CDK, and applications deployed using Kubernetes CDK.

Role Overview:

In the role of Solution Architect, your mission is to turn visionary concepts into functional solutions. As a key player in client engagements, you effortlessly navigate between hands-on technical discussions and strategic presentations for executive stakeholders. With a strong background in crafting web-based architectures, you thrive in tackling the challenges of large, multifaceted projects.

For the development team, you are an indispensable guide throughout the implementation journey. For clients and partners, you serve as a trusted advisor who deeply understands their objectives. Your blend of technical expertise and a people-first approach ensures you consistently deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development team, bridging customer requirements with technical designs and ensuring high performance.
• Focus on security, deployment, scalability, and other critical technical aspects while guiding projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Provide clear guidance, define test strategies with QA, and implement CI/CD pipelines with DevOps.
• Create technical architecture documentation and ensure compliance with non-functional requirements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a solutions architect.
• Extensive expertise in Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, containerization platforms (e.g. Kubernetes), and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Deep understanding and experience implementing enterprise integration tools (ESBs, iPAAS etc).
• Operational knowledge of application servers, databases, and infrastructure for scalable web applications.
• Proven experience designing event-driven applications.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code principles.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a small, dedicated team.
• Being able to travel frequently for on-site projects (initiation, training, and workshops) within the Benelux and DACH region.
